一切都变成一团黑暗,一片混乱;

再没有了安逸,没有了家园;

Reunion after Devastating Quake

Survivor Honami Abe meets again with her dog Toto at Minamisanriku town in Miyagi prefecture on March 19, 2011 after they were separated by the massive earthquake and tsunami that hit northern Japan.

Haw are you?
My sweet Toto, my dear friend!
The quake struck out of the blue,
The sky turned dark, my world screeched to an end.
In my desperate rush out of the falling building,
Did you hear my hysterical cries,
My voice weak and spent?

Haw are you?
My sweet Toth, my dear friend!
After the devastation, we have much with which to contend,
Gone is life of leisure, gone is our home we did so treasure.
Gone are days of innocence, gone is carefree pleasure.
In a world filled with loss and pain,
Tears and sobs seem hard to transcend.

How are you?
My sweet Toto, my dear friend!
In face of the broken walls and fallen homes, I have another wish to send.
Whether in heaven or still on earth,
I wish all quake victims will love and comfort find,
A gift whose name is godsend.
I wish that all old grievances be blown away by wind,
And washed away by tears and rains whose drops so blend.

Haw are you?
My sweet Tato, my dear friend!
In these cleansing days, gratitude fills my soul and mind.
Thank God we are both alive and well
Thank God you are here with a hand to lend!
As we pick up the broken pieces and rebuild, as our ways we wend,
Life will not seem as daunting, nor will scars be so hard to mend.
Because once again, I have you with whom these challenges to fend,
My sweet Tato, my dear friend!
